Dr Geoff Vietz is the Founder, Director and Principal Scientist at Streamology, an award-winning consulting company focused on environmental solutions from catchment to coast. He has an environmental engineering degree and a doctorate in fluvial geomorphology, and 28 years’ of experience, on water and waterway projects across Australia in both urban and regional settings. He has authored more than 50 journal papers and books and is Co-Chair of the 2026 Australian Stream Management Conference.
